Artwork
Artwork
My artwork is my visual diary; it’s how I interpret singular events, observations, and feelings as I process them. Because I am an art teacher, rather than just an artist, I have not gotten hung up one type of medium- I like all of them, and as I explored more of them around the same time I was exploring life and careers as young adult, I gained practice in, an appreciation for, a few different ones. The medium, style, subjects, and themes I use in any given piece are determined by the experience I want to capture, the skills I’m attempting to develop, or both.
What I tend to gravitate towards in art is statements or sarcastic humor with graphics, attempted through comics or by incorporating symbolism into objects.
While most of my artwork is for sale, either through messaging or through a cooperating gallery, I am also open to commissioned work, whether it be smaller artwork or murals.

Murals
Murals
I enjoy making custom murals for clients. Things taken into consideration when pricing are the cost of materials, square feet of area being painted, intricacy of design, and driving time/distance. My murals so far have ranged in $100-$400.

Raleigh Arts Classy Cart project: artists were challenged to turn ordinary trash bins into unique works of art, which are deployed during festivals and special events in Downtown Raleigh.
