About

Tavyn Lovitt is a Raleigh, NC based artist who works in a few different mediums to appreciate the natural world & satirize the modern world. Her experience in art education & forestry have led her to a variety of styles and techniques that define her diverse portfolio- mainly in acrylic paint, printmaking, & photography. Her work is largely a reflection of her adoration of wildlife, as she boasts a photography portfolio featuring shots of wildlife from various ecosystems around the U.S. 

Tavyn Lovitt attended Ole Miss where, in 2017, she earned a degree in Education as well as a K-12 teaching license in English/ELA. In 2023, Lovitt completed a Masters Degree in Art Education from The University of Florida, followed by a K-12 teaching license in Visual Art. Lovitt currently teaches at Longleaf School of the Arts where she indulges in her passion for creative visual thinking & exploration by teaching Art History, Studio Art, Digital Design, & Photography to aspiring artists.
